ABOUT THE CHARITY
Our Charitable Aims
- Relieve or prevent any form of poverty; be that financial, emotional, spiritual, relational, or mental in any way. This can be carried out in a variety of ways in almost any area of society.
- Have a beneficial impact in any area of society, bringing about positive change which aligns with restoration of all things. We see this as aligned with the ‘Kingdom of God’ within the Christian faith however we do not require that you be a Christian to still bring about restoration in your community or sphere of influence. We are not primarily focused on promoting institutional ‘religion’ but rather the holistic wholeness and goodness we see described throughout the bible as the ‘Kingdom of God’
Why Us?
The Kingdom Network was launched to address the ‘gap’ between a person or group doing what they are passionate about, but feeling pushed to become a Charity to make use of Gift Aid. Problem is, most of these groups don’t have three experienced Trustees to hand and so end up being poorly governed by (very willing and kind) but out of their depth Trustees.
The work of The Kingdom Network is to simplify…
With our solution, grantees get all the benefits of being a registered charity (gift aid, bank account, ability to apply for grants (including additional grants from us), free clear/simple bookkeeping, no taxation headaches) but with none of the wider requirements of being a charity; (trustees, annual accounts, formal health and safety, risks and governance requirements to name but a few)
We launched as a CIO in January 2019 and have been supporting Individuals, Groups and Organisations ever since.
